Ajay Gulati, as a musician and DJ, performs under the stage name Taopa. He has previously performed at venues such as Club Sanctum, Loft 38, Shiro, Loveshack, Blue Bar, Geoffrey’s, Shanti, Club Fresh, Sunburn, Goa and at Sunburn Awards, Mumbai.

In his performances, Taopa plays a variety of percussions, flute and the morsing, layering them on electronic DJ sets that he mixes live. His sets range from deep house/ minimal techno/ ambient/ lounge, depending on the mood of the event. He often surprises his audience by mixing in a popular retro track or unexpectedly introducing minimal classical Indian live vocals.
